Pescanova’s activities as ship’s agents started in Cape Town in the early sixties as an in-house service to our parent Company’s large fishing fleet.

Within a few years our services were extended to other Owners and a full range of services has since been offered on a 24-hour basis, viz:

Since 1974 we have been active as brokers specializing in refer cargoes such as frozen fish and meat products, but also the occasional dry cargo fixture and even live stock shipments. Working exclusively with renowned reefer operators and first class chatterers we have an unblemished record of getting cargoes to its destination in time and at competitive rates.

We are currently represented in all ports in The Republic of South Africa ie Cape Town, Saldanha Bay, Durban, Port Elizabeth and East London as well as in Namibia ie Luderitz and Walvis Bay.
